I am a historical demographer with an interest in population research in Sub-Saharan Africa. My research aims to understand the interplay between population dynamics and socioeconomic development in colonial societies. My expertise is in historical data transcription, management, linkage, and analysis. Current research projects include the Cape of Good Hope Panel Project: Quantitative studies of long-term growth, inequality and labour coercion in a developing region and the African population boom in historical perspective.
